To serve as the Nile Basin referral and resource network for capacity building in IWRM in the member countries and at regional level.

The mission of the Nile IWRM Net is to enable capacity development for IWRM in the Nile Basin countries by promoting and encouraging information sharing, technical assistance, and development and implementation of demand driven capacity building activities at the different levels (policy, planning, practitioners, education, and grassroots) for the sustainable management of water resources in the Nile Basin.
